I-Lutetium(III) Oxide
I-Lutetium(III) Oxide(Lu2O3), ekwaziwa ngokuba yi-lutecia, sisixhobo esimhlophe esiqinileyo kunye ne-cubic compound ye-lutetium. Sisixhobo se-Lutetium esinganyibilikiyo kakhulu kubushushu, esinesakhiwo se-cubic crystal kwaye sifumaneka kwimo yomgubo omhlophe. Le rare earth metal oxide ibonisa iipropati zomzimba ezilungileyo, ezinje ngendawo yokunyibilika ephezulu (malunga ne-2400°C), uzinzo lwesigaba, amandla oomatshini, ubulukhuni, ukuqhuba kobushushu, kunye nokwanda kobushushu obuphantsi. Ifanelekile kwiiglasi ezikhethekileyo, ukusetyenziswa kwe-optic kunye ne-ceramic. Ikwasetyenziswa njengezinto ezibalulekileyo zokwenziwa kweekristale ze-laser.
